Message With the increased demands put on shipping companies this time of year it is inevitable that packages just aren't going to get to their destinations on time. That not only includes things being shipped to you, but also things being shipped from you. My flanges didn't arrive on time to meet with my welder nor could I build the exhaust without them, so things were delayed. I've been working on it for the past two days and have made a good bit of progress. Unfortunately it doesn't appear that I will have her back on the road for Christmas, but I guess good things will come to those who wait. I should have her up and going by the new year though. :)

The exhaust is all 304 stainless steel with 304SS flanges, mandrel bent on a 4" centerline radius. Flex-bellows have been installed as well to help alleviate the loading put on the downpipes. I will be experimenting with a new type of "X" pipe configuration that I have fabricated which places the shared area closer to the engine. I believe that this will help the engine move the air more freely since the shared area will effectively double the area of the piping from that point on. This may hurt low-end torque due to the fact it will reduce backpressure significantly, however, I have a device in mind that I will be building downstream into the exhaust that will allow the best of both low-end torque and high-RPM horsepower. For now, I'll leave it at that and let your imaginations carry you until I reveal it. :)

Here's how she sits as of today:

Have a safe and Merry Christmas you guys - from both myself and AshSPEC Performance and Tuning!
